Polyethylene (PE) spot prices were mostly higher last week as spot availability remained tight, according to spot-trading platform, The Plastics Exchange (TPE), and its reporting partner, The PetroChem Wire. Looking forward, producers are pushing a $0.03/lb increase in July, with several participants saying the change is reflected in their pricing. Additionally, producers are seeking to implement an $0.08/lb increase on July 1.
